Why did you start personal training?

Although I had a fitness base, as previous triathlete and rugby player there was clearly a plateau in recent results and motivation. Watching Joey with other customers, it was clear he would able to give me the steer, technical guidance and kick up the backside that I needed to make gains and see improvements fast !

What is different as a result of your time using a coach?

In all areas. Technically I became much more able in gym using all equipment e.g. lighter weights with a sound technique is much better than heavier weights with clearly poor technique. Technique and tempo is key to gains. More importantly, this new approach has prevented injuries. Joey also gave useful tips on correct diet and training whilst always providing coherent instruction and weekly spreadsheet updates which were accessible to show progress and schedule.

Why would someone benifit from training with a coach?

If you are looking to gain or lose weight, learn correct form, new technique to improve muscle and definition and wish to see improvements week in week out, then Joey can help. Moreover, you’ll have fun along the way!

Joey was the perfect coach for my needs as described. I would give him a 4.9 out of 5. Well there’s always room for improvement Joey!
