Do I need to be fit to start Personal Training?
Absolutely not. We will meet you where you are. Our training is not about simply working “hard”. Training is designed for you, your specific needs, and the goals you want to work towards. Do not let your current state of fitness hold you back from getting started.
Am I too old to benefit from Personal Training?
We think this comes from the belief that personal trainers are just ‘drill sergeants’. At TH4 this couldn’t be further from the truth. We understand that training must be intelligently designed for the individual considering their personal needs and potential limitations. You are NEVER too old to start working on your health and fitness. In fact, improving your health, fitness and strength as you age is one of the surest ways to improve your quality of life. Don’t let your age be a limitation and be confident we can tailor exercise to your personal needs.
Do I need to be ‘really strict’?
You do not ‘need’ to do anything. We certainly won’t force or pressure you to do anything. Our job is to provide options and guidance relevant to the goals you have. The more extreme a result you want to see, the more effort you must expect to commit. However, this is your choice and we are happy to work at a pace that suits you. Sustainable results and change are what we are most interested in.
