Due to Marie having a highly demanding job she had seen her health and fitness deteriorate
She also had back pain which impacted her when performing surgery
We worked hard to create a plan that complemented her busy schedule allowing her to start working on her health and fitness again
Marie has progressed in the gym getting stronger and fitter
She has also learnt how to manage her lifestyle better (sleep and stress) as well as how to eat in a way that supports her wants and needs
As a result of these changes she has developed a leaner physique (increased muscle mass and less body fat)
Marie also no longer suffers from back pain!

Why did you start personal training?
I started training with Joey about 2 years ago. My main motivation was the deterioration in my fitness due to my busy schedule at work and lack of motivation to go to the gym without a proper workout plan. Initially, I also wanted to improve my back pain which is now gone!
What have you achieved through personal training?
I have achieved much more than a better physique. I have gained much more knowledge about nutrition, handling stress and maintaining my general fitness. I’ve cured my back pain and I now have a healthier lifestyle in terms of diet and optimising sleep and stress management. As a result, I have improved energy levels!
How has your coach helped you with your goals?
Training sessions have been great because they are always tailored to my condition and energy levels on the day. The regular ‘follow up’ messages help to keep me on track with nutrition, fitness, anti-stress goals!
How would you describe/summarise your experience working with your coach?
I’ve never had a better coach! Joey is knowledgeable, understanding and extremely enthusiastic!
What would you say to somebody who was thinking about trying personal training with your coach?
I would highly recommend Joey. His method of training is great in terms of solidifying the basics such as proper workout technique and posture. The best thing about Joeys training is that he truly customises it to fit it in with my lifestyle and also changes things depending on my energy levels etc. His tips for optimising meals are also great!
