Introduce Yourself

Julian, 66 years old.

Why did you start personal training?

I had two main reasons. I live on a boat so I need to be fit and strong. Therefore, I needed to lose weight and exercise. I also have degenerative arthritis in both knees and I did not want to have surgery so I thought losing weight and becoming stronger could help this issue.

What has personal training helped you achieve?

Training with Joey over the last 18 months has changed my life. Losing 16 kilos has made me feel happier and much more confident.

I am now almost pain free and I have a daily routine of exercises to maintain my strength and health. As well as exercise being easier due to being fitter and stronger I find many areas of my day to day life have become far easier. 

How has Joey helped you as a trainer?

Joey has made sure I always got the most out of exercise with workouts tailored to my specific needs. Because of Joey’s advice I have changed my diet and eating routine so that I am able to achieve a lot more and enjoy a healthier life style. I would not have made this difficult transition without Joey’s encouragement and continued support.

Joey’s knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication sets him apart from the other trainers and I can highly recommend training with him.
