Why did you start personal training? 

It all started when I wanted to get in better shape for a holiday I had coming up, along with wanting to diet properly without losing muscle.

What have you achieved through personal training? What is different about you now? 

I achieved getting in the best shape of my life to date! Whilst feeling good! I also learned an incredible amount how about the body works and what works for my body to. My self-confidence risen as I set a goal, worked hard and completed it! Things are different now after the personal training because it teaches you fundamental life lessons like discipline / patience and consistency.

How has your coach helped you with your goals? 

Because Joey has extensive knowledge in personal training and actually knows how the body works and how it responds, it enabled me to put my trust in him and trust the process. He also helped me stay accountable and disciplined which is key on those days where motivation did lack. He was also there every day to raise my spirits and support me whenever I needed it, as well as answer any questions I had at the time!

How would you describe/summarise your experience working with Joey?

It was definitely worth it, setting a goal and having someone who’s an expert in that field guide you and push you along the way!

What would you say to somebody who was thinking about trying personal training with Joey?

I would say to absolutely go for it! He isn’t just an average personal trainer, there is so much more that goes into changing your body / getting in better shape, it’s a change in lifestyle and change in psychology. Joey knows this and takes that all on board too!

The experience was incredibly fulfilling the first time around, and I’ve set new goals with Joey again. I plan to have him personal train me going forward in the future as well.
